Certificate in Theology (C.Th)
Purpose of the Course
The Certificate in Theology (C.Th) program is aimed to equip persons who seek a deeper understanding of the Christian faith. To nurture dutiful minister for the Kachin Churches.
Goal of the Program
The goal of this program is to enable the student to grow in personal and spiritual maturity to be witnesses for Christ in the World.
Application Procedure for C.Th
The applicants should be complete all the requirements of KTC as shown below:
- (a) All applicants must be a baptized Christian ( at least baptism one year ahead of application)
- (b) Must be free from narcotic drugs
- (c) Should be healthy and of good character
- (d) Grade 8th for C. Th course
- (e) Age: Minimum 16 years to Maximum 55 years
Applications should arrive before the closing date is due, with all the following recommendations:
- (a) Duly completed and signed application form
- (b) Two recent, front-view, passport-sized photos
- (c) Recommendation from Church Pastor/ Church Council
- (d) Recommendation from Association of Local Churches
- (e) Recommendation from a certified Medical officer
- (f) Recommendation from the last attended school.
- (g) Financial Guarantee from Sponsor
- (h) Personal History including a clear sense of call and reasons for preparing to attend Theological College
- 1. Interview: Entrance interview is required for C.Th Applicant
- 2. Time and Date: to be announced in advance
- 3. Place: Kachin Theological College, Kutkai, Block (5), Church Road, Kutkai, Northern Shan State, Myanmar.
- 4. Deferred Admission: Application forms are valid for two year following the original acceptance. After two years, the applicant must reapply.
