The Bachelor of Theology program is expected to nurture pastoral leadership for the Churches in Myanmar
especially in the Kachin society.
The goal of this program is to provide the student with the basic principle and general concept of biblical,
historical, mission, practical and theological studies. To train the students in specific skills needed for
ministry and public leadership in also a primary goal of this program.
The applicants should be complete all the requirements of KTC as shown below:
- All applicants must be a baptized Christian ( at least baptism one year ahead of application)
- Must be free from narcotic drugs
- Should be healthy and of good character
- Matriculated for Bachelor of Theology course
- Age: Minimum 16 years to Maximum 55 years
Applications should arrive before the closing date is due, with all the following recommendations:
- Duly completed and signed application form
- Two recent, front-view, passport-sized photos
- Recommendation from Church Pastor/ Church Council
- Recommendation from Association of Local Churches
- Recommendation from a certified Medical officer
- Recommendation from the last attended school
- Financial Guarantee from Sponsor
- Personal History including a clear sense of call and reasons for preparing to attend Theological
College
Written in English (Basic Skill) and Kachin Language, and a written Bible knowledge examination are
required for the B.Th Applicant
- Interview: Entrance interview is required for C.Th Applicant
- Time and Date: to be announced in advance
- Place: Kachin Theological College, Kutkai, Block (5), Church Road, Kutkai, Northern Shan State,
Myanmar.
- Deferred Admission: Application forms are valid for two year following the original acceptance.
After two years, the applicant must reapply.
